Phalaenopsis is one of the most popular orchids in the trade, through the development of many artificial hybrids. It is native to southern China, Taiwan, the Indian Subcontinent, Southeast Asia Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, etc., New Guinea, the Bismarck Archipelago, and Queensland.
